WebDec 15, 2024 · If I thought you could locate the joists correctly, I'd suggest you overboard the ceilings with new plasterboard (so you wouldn't need to disturb the existing artex at all), but I'm not at all confident that you'd know how to do that correctly. Listen, you're likely to get quite a few spreads giving you a hard time for what you're planning to do.
