How bellman ford algorithm works
WebI'm a little confused about the concept of the Bellman-Ford(BF) algorithm to compute the shortest path in a general graph with negative weights knowing that there are no negative cycles present. I understand why Dikjstra doesn't work for a graph with negative weights.

Web9 de jun. de 2024 · Bellman ford algorithm follows the dynamic programming approach by overestimating the length of the path from the starting vertex to all other vertices. ... Therefore, the only limitation of the bellman ford algorithm is that it does not work with a graph having a negative edge cycle. WebBellman-Ford Algorithm is computes the shortest paths from a single source vertex to all of the other vertices in a weighted digraph. Even though it is slower than Dijkstra's Algorithm, it works in the cases when the weight of the edge is negative and it also finds negative weight cycle in the graph. The problem with Dijkstra's Algorithm is, if ...
